The 2013 Belmont-Hillsboro Tour of Homes will be held on Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 each, and all tour attendees will also receive free admission to the Belmont Mansion.
We still need volunteers to assist with the Tour. If you’d like to serve as a docent at one of the homes, contact Carole Kenner at email@example.com.
Belmont-Hillsboro Neighbors is proud to offer one of the longest running home tours in Nashville. Now in its 17th year, the BHN home tour offers a look inside interesting homes built over the last 100 years.

Don’t miss this year’s “Ode to Otha,” the street party that has become a Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood tradition!
To celebrate the birthday of Mississippi Fife and Drum music legend, Otha Turner, (and his own birthday) and to honor the musical legacy of Mr. Turner, long-time neighbor Bill Ramsey will host his annual block party, Ode to Otha, Saturday, June 1 from 2 pm to 9 p.m. at 1711 Sweetbriar Ave. The family-friendly event includes food, beer, margaritas, clowns, piñatas and music from Sharde Thomas (Otha’s granddaughter) and the Rising Star Fife and Drum Band, Delicious, Kenny Brown, the Reprimands, Blue Mother Tupelo, Chip Green, Bashful Mountain Broadcasters and more.
The $30 admission benefits Second Harvest Food Bank. Children under 14 are free.

Belmont-Hillsboro Neighbors invites you to join your friends and neighbors at our 4th annual Wood for the ‘Hood party. All proceeds from the event are used to plant and maintain trees throughout the Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood.
The party will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the home of Joe Woolley and Jim Schmidt, 2006 18th Avenue South.

The location will be between Linden and Kirkwood on 12th Ave South.The event runs from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and will feature live entertainment, local vendors, family friend activities
The purpose of the Sevier Park Fest is to bring together the Belmont-Hillsboro and 12th Ave South neighborhood communities in partnership to promote the local talent and businesses of the Belmont-Hillsboro and 12th Ave South neighborhoods. Money raised will be used to enhance and support Sevier Park’s planned renewal and any future improvements that increase the park’s community use through the newly organized Friends of Sevier Park organization.
Admission to the event is free, but a limited amount of VIP tickets are available for $65.00 and include food and drink throughout the day. VIP tickets can be purchased on the Festival website.
