19TH ANNUAL HISTORIC BELMONT-HILLSBORO HOME TOUR
Join your neighbors for the annual 2015 Historic Belmont-Hillsboro Home Tour. The tour will be held Saturday, October 3rd, from 11 AM – 5 PM. This year’s tour will showcase 5 architecturally diverse homes, along with BHN’s namesake, Belmont Mansion.
Tour Chair, Gill Geldreich echoed the architectural diversity of this year’s homes “One home sure to please this year’s tour-goers will be the neighborhood’s only period significant prairie-style home, which has recently been fully renovated. We our also showcasing a spectacular four-square on Oakland Avenue that has recently went through an extensive four-floor complete renovation. It’s certain to be a crowd favorite as well.”
The tour begins at 2700 Belmont Boulevard where tickets may be purchased and is open 11 AM – 5 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children under 12. Advanced tickets can also be purchased at Hillsboro Hardware on 21st Avenue South and online. All proceeds benefit BHN initiatives which in the past have included local scholarship foundations, community enhancement projects and the ongoing restoration of Belmont Mansion.
